Disability Support

We empower people living with a disability that is characterised by longer term and permanent impairment to live their best life.

Experienced support

At RDNS NZ, have a dedicated team of trained professionals committed to developing a tailor-made package of care that supports you and your family whanau.

We work closely with you to plan and deliver services that meet your individual needs.

Enabling Good Lives (EGL)

We work with Enabling Good Lives (EGL), which is a partnership between the disability sector and government agencies to ensure that the disabled people including their family whānau have greater control over their lives.

Enabling Good Lives is centred on the ‘person, their strengths and aspirations’.

Types of Disability Support

A self-directed service that empowers you, supports self-determination, person centred, mana enhancing, relationship building where your journey starts early.

These services can include:

  • Individualised service planning 
  • Home help 
  • Personal care
  • Social support 
  • Supporting you to integrate into your community

Individualised Funding

We can work with you if you have Individualised Funding.

Individualised funding (IF) and Personal Budgets are funded by the Ministry of Social Development (MSD) which allows people the flexibility and control to manage their own funding.

If you’re eligible, the funding is designed to help you live your life your way.

Ministry of Social Development (MSD) funds disability support services across Aotearoa/New Zealand.
 
The Needs Assessment Service Co-ordination (NASC) work on behalf of MSD to assess and identify an individual’s support needs and provide advice about the available support services. They can refer you to us, just ask for RDNS NZ to be your provider of choice.
