Who we care for

Anyone can be referred to RDNS NZ and we accept referrals from any source.

If you are wishing to access services funded by the ADHB you will need to be referred to the Community Care Access Centre at ADHB, on (09) 307 4949. Otherwise a GP, family member, carer or other healthcare provider can contact the Community Care Access Centre directly or us on your behalf – we’re happy to help. Alternatively, you can also call us directly yourself on (09) 589 8900.

If you are in hospital, you can be referred to us via the Gerontology Services or Hospital Social Workers.

Once you have been referred to us but, before RDNS NZ can start providing you with care, your healthcare needs must be properly assessed. To have one of our skilled staff assess your needs, or those of a loved one, call us on our 24 hour, 7 day a week line: (09) 589 8900.

RDNS NZ can tailor packages in nursing care, allied health services, occupational therapy, personal care and domestic help, to suit your needs perfectly.

If you are a health industry professional and would like to refer a client to us, please call (09) 589 8900 to have one of our staff members assess your client’s home care needs.

Healthcare professionals will need to provide RDNS NZ with a client’s medical history and diagnosis.
